      1. Oh my gosh yes! I find it very beautiful when ascending into the cloud deck and popping out on top where its so white and beautiful! It’s fun when descending too.

            1. I miss being up there, but may have the chance next month.

               My sister is the executor of my parents’ estate. Since dad passed last July we are dealing with cleaning out my folks’ winter home in Tarpon Springs, Florida.

               The place got a bad mold infestation because of those two hurricanes last summer so she is getting the place remediated. Yuck. Then sell it as is sans the personal items. Sad days.

3. Actually, that is exactly what NASA and other like minded scientists suggest we do with Venus.

   Russia has sent 16 missions to Venus (Venera)with the longest time a probe lasted being about 2 hours.

   The pressure and temperature is too high, so they suggest a floating city would be perfect!

   1. Many thanks for the link, Wayne! I’ve read a bit about these ideas. That is quite an awesome thing. Unfortunately we should probably solve some of our nasty human behaviours before trying to colonise our solar system but that won’t happen. We’ll just take all our crap with us and spread it around. 🙄
