I enjoyed watching these cloud formations …

… as they drifted past, mirroring the light from the setting sun …

… a short time here …

… and on their way again.
Happy Sunday.

An endless source of wonder and pleasure, Lynette. We had a lovely sky yesterday evening too.

I agree, Jo. I have sometimes spent long periods watching clouds – a holdover from childhood. I think this time of year gives us some of the most beautiful skies.

It reminds me of how A. A. Milne introduces Winnie the Pooh with his song
How sweet to be a Cloud
Floating in the Blue!
Every little cloud
Always sings aloud.
“How sweet to be a Cloud
Floating in the Blue!”
It makes him very proud
To be a little cloud.

That’s lovely. I haven’t thought of Winnie for many years. Thanks for that reminder. Cheers.

I observed a cloud formation one day last week because one caught my eye. It was just a small round puffy ball looking of a cloud that was on it’s own away from the cloud formation similar to one of your cloud formations. I couldn’t take my eye of it.

It’s quite amazing, isn’t it? Mesmerising, a bit like watching fish. Probably a good activity for our blood pressure and mood, too! Cheers.

Yes, it can be amazing. I don’t do it as often though as when I was much younger. I ought to.

Clouds make the sky interesting, kind of like life. We are watching the skies change over the Atlantic right now. Have a great day. Allan

Thanks, Allan. They sure do, especially when we’re hoping for rain! I hope your good weather continues. Enjoy those Atlantic skies.

A very pretty set! There’s something magical about watching clouds as they drift along.

Thank you very much, Belinda. 😊 I agree! I find it very relaxing and centring. We are getting lots of interesting cloud development at the moment because some very localised thunderstorms are passing through.

Most of us don’t like cloudy days, but often it’s the clouds that make the sky dramatic.
Great photos, Lynette.

Thank you very much, Linda. We’ve had some very localised thunderstorms pass through as well, so some very interesting clouds from them, too. A very good weekend, thanks. I hope you did, too. Cheers.
