We are in Prince Rupert on British Columbia’s northern Pacific coast, and the views and scenery have been stunning.

This was our view from a restaurant where we had dinner.

As we enjoyed our meal we also enjoyed the sunset and the frolicking bald eagles.

We saw many, many of them calling to each other, swooping, diving and putting on quite a display of their aerial prowess.

Happy Wednesday.
What a way to end the day! Just stunning.

It was the most fantastic view, especially when the eagles started swooping about!

It does look nice there and just a bit cooler. Going to +36 here today, almost Okanagan weather. Have a great day Lynette. Allan

At 24, it was warmer than forecast but so much more comfortable than we had been experiencing at home. Alberta and most of BC is getting walloped pretty hard. Stay cool, Allan.

Thank you very much, Linda. I knew it would be beautiful but was surprised by how much. In my opinion this area is more beautiful than the Lake Louise-Banff part of the Rockies.

It’s very beautiful, Maggie, and well worth a visit. We will be travelling to Haida Gwaii as well which we understand is also gorgeous. Cheers.

It was truly breathtaking, Belinda. It almost seemed as if the eagles were putting on a show. There were so many of them, too, about 20! I’ve never seen so many all at once.

Thank you very much. 😊 They were marvellous to see,Tricia, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many all at one time. But you’ll soon see them again; not too much longer now. 😊

Thanks for sharing this post with beautiful photos of Prince Rupert, BC. I was made aware of Prince Rupert as it is an important port city for the Canadian National Railway.
