The sugar maples are such brilliant colour combinations right now. Enjoying a walk means also enjoying the glow from these trees – a wonderful autumn gift.

There are reds, greens, oranges and yellows on the same tree or a succession of trees – a stunning sight.

They don’t last long, but my, what a show!

Happy Tuesday.
Spectacular colours!

I love the sugar maples as they really are spectacular in the autumn. They don’t last long – a couple of weeks – but the show is gorgeous!

Those are very beautiful and vibrant!! 😳✨
i’ve been seeing people posting about the red, orange, yellow leaves and autumn inspiration, pumpkin spice, etc🍁 so jealous because autumn doesn’t exist in my region, Internet and books are where I can see them 🥹

They really are! It’s such a beautiful time of year. What’s your region? I have lived in Arizona and understand about not experiencing the real autumnal changes. Cheers. 🍂

Now that is the kind of forest fire we can appreciate. I love the trees at this stage that glow so brightly. Have a good Tuesday Lynette. Allan

I completely agree! The oaks and maples in particular are so gorgeous right now. Walking under them is like being enveloped in a present.

We have a Sugar Maple in our yard and a Red Oak across the street. Love these colorful, old growth trees.

In my opinion they are the most beautiful, although the aspens turn a beautiful gold colour and are equally stunning. We have aspen forests in the mountains around us but I haven’t visited yet to get photos of them. Cheers.

Gorgeous. I keep telling the wind to die down so I can enjoy the show longer. I put up my autumn photos today. Wish I was able to find more red like yours. There is a lot of those red ones along the sides of busy roads here, so not a good place for a photo.

Fortunately we haven’t had a lot of wind. It was so dry that we just needed rain and more rain (we’ve been getting quite a lot lately) and not any kind of desiccating wind. That’s given us the opportunity to enjoy our colour show. It’s always too short though, wind or not! The best ones for red variations are the sugar and red maples, white ash trees, and oaks. It’s too bad that your reds are not in a better location. Cheers.

Brilliance is a good word to describe the colour of these maples.
