We have had quite a bit of rain over the last few days and there have been beautifully lit sunset or sunrise cloud formations.

We’re happy to have the rain as we have also been experiencing very warm days, too, and this keeps our fire risk much lower.
I’m wishing for good soaking rains for Alberta and the other areas of the country that have been severely affected by forest fires.
Happy Tuesday.
Rain. I never thought I would long for rainy days so much. We have had one day of rain in our 4 weeks away and this morning I see it is raining at home. That is a good sign. Happy Tuesday Lynette. Allan

The Edmonton area is supposed to get rain over the next two or three days; I hope it’s widespread, puts out those fires and cleans the air. BC is supposed to get a large cold front with a lot of rain starting late today, so I hope everything gets a good soaking. These fires everywhere have been tragic.

Good news and gorgeous skies. We haven’t had rain in weeks here, and finally it’s raining today. It’s a light rain, not heavy, but we’ll take anything we can get.

I regularly read up on weather patterns and the July/August prediction is that most of eastern and central North America will have cooler temperatures while eastern coastal areas and the west in general will be a lot hotter. We’ll see. I’m glad that we have been getting some intermittent rain because it has been 30°+C (88-90F) and very dry in between. I hope your rain hangs around for a bit, Lori.

Yes. Been raining on and off all day. Tre and I got caught in a downpour on our walk. It’s pretty cool, too. Which is fine with me. You know how tired I am of heat. 😜

Glad to hear that you’re getting some much- needed rain. I don’t mind the heat but summer humidity can really level me. Yuck. Stay cool. 😎

Beautiful sky! We could use some rain here in Ontario.

Thank you very much. 🙂 Yes, it has been dry, but I understand that you have some coming your way (a weather prediction, so fingers crossed). Cheers.

The lighting of the clouds looks absolutely gorgeous. We’ve had quite a bit of rain the last few days, which has been most welcome. Our air quality has improved significantly and it means I haven’t had to water my vegetable gardens!

From my read of the weather systems, Ontario is supposed to get quite a bit more. Given how bad the fires have been, I would rather have more rainy weather, certainly for now. That sun reflection on the cloud was quite something. Didn’t last long, though.

Same. I never thought I’d be so thankful to see so much rain on the forecast. We desperately needed it though. And it’s been great to see how lush everything now looks. Plus I haven’t needed to water any of my vegetables all week. After today it’ll go back to being hot, dry and sunny.

We had sun yesterday but it looks like more rain today, so I’m happy with that. Keeping everything a bit damp is a good thing right now as the Okanagan can be really dry (the southern tip is classified as semi-arid desert). Glad to hear that you got a much-needed soaking. Maybe more rain will follow later. Cheers.
