   1. It was a very beautiful morning; very quiet with the sound muffled by the snow. By late afternoon it was all gone, though, lovely but fleeting.

   1. Lovely! One of the best things about my time living in southern Alberta was all that sun, even in January in -40. Seeing the sun always helps, especially in January. Cheers.

3. Beautiful, Lynette and the green of the bamboo gives hope for Spring! During the cold frost and snow spell I worried that our bamboo would not survive but it’s bounced back without any issues – thankfully!

   1. Many of the bushes and plants here are tender, don’t lose their leaves in autumn, and don’t like the cold too much, so I was surprised to see this snow-covered bamboo seemingly unaffected. The snow was gone by the end of the day, and the next morning the bamboo was upright, perky and green!
