Today’s #Photograph
Stuart has changed the focus of his photo posts from the Forest of Dean and ocean pictures of the past 15 months or so to a wider variety of shots and scenes from his collection. Stuart’s project was to share landscape photos for those who, in particular, have been on semi-permanent shutdown because of covid.
But all good things must come to end. With many of us starting to turn the corner on this wretched virus, Stuart is moving on as well.
Thank you, Stuart, for continuing to share your lovely forest and ocean photos with us over these many months that covid has kept us more inside than outside. For me, your posts have been a lovely bright spot in a sometimes very difficult time. 🌸
I won’t be re-blogging Stuart’s photos quite as often, but definitely will continue! Please visit Stuart’s site for a browse through his gorgeous photography.
What a nuanced and detailed capture!

Yes, I agree. Stuart explained that a UN youth group was visiting that day (they are represented by the flags). Very much an important lesson in international relations to meet in a colossus that once forced conquered peoples to fight.

Many thanks for your wonderful support of the original project, Lynette. You helped get that joy to so many more people.
It’s good that you’ll be more selective of the new series, as some of the images may not suit you at all, of course.
I’m now concentrating more on my writing. and, by coincidence, the final edit notes for my latest novel were sent by my publisher yesterday! So I’ll be busy with those.
Again, thank you for your help on this, Lynette; I really appreciate it.

Thank you, Stuart, you were very generous with your time and resources during a very trying period (I hope we can soon say that the back of this miserable virus has been broken, including in India).
Good luck with your editing; may all go smoothly.

It’s the first of my novels that has been returned by an editor more than once for changes. But it deals with some contentious issues, so I expected that. I’ve just completed what I hope will be the final edit, Lynette. It’s been an intense and demanding process, but both the editors and I want to make it the best it can be, so worth the effort.

I hope you won’t have to do further editing on this one, but then again, you need to make it what it needs to be.

Me, too, Lynette. It’s gone back to the publisher this morning, so I’ll find out soon!

On a more serious note, I love his photos, and thanks so much for this as it’s helped me see more of the world especially during this time of no travelling.

You are very welcome. 🙂 Stuart hoped that his photos would do exactly that: provide a breath of fresh air during this wretched pandemic.

Thanks for sharing Stuarts pictures with us. Even without the pandemic, I’ve always appreciated a beautiful landscape shot. It’s always nice to be reminded of what’s important in life and what makes me happy. Part of that is spending time outside and enjoying nature.

You’re very welcome. I think that his project was successful as it seems his photos were spread quite widely. I love landscape photography (wish I was better at it) and I love how it does that for me, too.
