Thank you very much, Ally. As you may have noticed, I’m a bit of a sucker for sunset photos (and landscapes in general). 😉 I find that nature has that overall effect for me. I felt very contented that day. Cheers.
Our home (I’ll be there permanently in 7.5 months; can you tell that I’m looking forward to it? 😉 ) is in a very long, deep valley in the interior of British Columbia. Like all valleys, it moderates the weather and temperature, so I won’t be experiencing those long cold winters anymore. We thought about the coast (M grew up in Vancouver) but it does get so damp (and that cold damp) in the winter. Cheers.
Beautiful and peaceful scene in the photo. It has an “all is well in the world” feel to it.

March will bring change. They are talking about +9 here this week. That is likely the kiss of death to that happening. Happy Monday Lynette. Allan
It will, even this far north. I agree, one should never voice these numbers out loud. Zeus or somebody always hears and takes umbrage! Cheers.
It’s beautiful here in California, too–with more rain expected tomorrow. This is one of the reasons I will never live in the Northwest–wet and gloomy!

Very soothing sky.
I agree, Anneli. And I always like a good sunset. Cheers.
Yes, at least there’s the sun, which helps brighten up even the gloomiest of days.
It does! And we have had a lot of sun over the last couple of weeks, which does make the snow and cold a lot easier to live with. Cheers.
