Happy Groundhog Day, Lynette. I hope wherever you are moving to there is scenery as lovely as this. 🙂
Hi Steve, thank you very much. 🙂 This picture shows some of our home community (Penticton) so we are already there! We have owned a home in Penticton for almost a decade; most of that time I have been finishing up my career by working in Northwest Territories. We are surrounded by a lot of beauty and feel very fortunate to begin living there full-time starting in late autumn. Cheers.
I can feel the warmth!
It was a hot day, as I recall. About 35C, so yes, lots of warmth!
Too hot except by the water, where it’s perfect.
We went walking quite early to escape the highest temperatures, but we have been known to spend afternoons in the lake!
Best place to be on a day like that.
Definitely!
Beautiful, Lynette. What do groundhogs know? If they see their shadow, we get 6 more weeks of winter…if they don’t we get 1 1/2 months…or in our case 2 1/2. A good way to pass the winter time having a bit of fun. Happy Thursday. Allan
Thank you very much, Allan. Haha. 🙂 Up here it’s more like 3 1/2! Groundhogs are rather poor prognosticators. I trust my arthritic knee much more. 😉
Beautiful!
Thanks, Cindy. 🙂
Such a bright clear day in that picture. Beautiful.
Thank you, Lori. 🙂 It was a beautiful summer day. We had an excellent mountain walk and a lovely lunch afterwards.
The colour of the landscape, especially the water, looks stunning. Here’s hoping for an early spring!
That photo is from early July. Penticton is situated between two lakes ; this the southern one, Skaha. It has such a fantastic beach. Yes, an early spring would be so nice!
