It’s a beautiful mountainous area in Jasper National Park. 🙂
Looks fantastic. You’re always finding the natural beauty of the world!
Thank you, Benjamin! I enjoy it. 🙂
Was this shot on your latest trip. The absence of snow, while not unusual in that valley is surprising. Good feeding for the sheep. Happy Sunday Lynette. Allan
Hi Allan, yes, this was from January 7. The weather was above freezing, actually, almost like spring. Yes, the sheep looked to be in good condition. Cheers.
Wow! The sheep, the setting, so pretty.
Yes, it’s gorgeous area through the mountains in Jasper National Park. Cheers.
I bet that was an exciting moment!
Yes, it was. We had pulled over for a quick stop and there they were!
So nice!
Sheep looks as discolored as the old snow!
They have that sandy colour year-round, although they certainly would blend in well at certain times!
Wow! Amazing shot. Happy Sunday.
Thank you very much! Cheers. 🙂
Wonderful!
Thank you very much, Cindy. 🌸
Love seeing these pictures of animals out in the wild (even if they are crossing a road) – had to look up mountain sheep to learn more…Happy Sunday, Lynette!
Thank you. 🙂 I took this photo in Jasper National Park. This is a secondary highway with a speed limit of 70 km (43 miles). The animals are very used to being left alone and will sometimes just stand in the road. Gives people a good chance to take pictures. 🙂
Nice!
Cheers. 🙂
Seeing wildlife from the car is my ideal wildlife encounter. Glad you managed to get a picture of the mountain sheep.
Thanks, Linda. There are certainly lots of animals to see in Jasper. It’s very easy to stop just to watch or take photos. Cheers.
Happy Sunday! Looks peaceful!
