Penticton creek empties into Lake Okanagan near a very popular walking trail.

I especially enjoyed morning walks there with our friend’s dog whom we looked after over the winter break.
It was great to stroll again along the lake, particularly with a dog who enjoyed every second!
Even though you are back up North, I can see where your heart lies Lynette. Have a good Wednesday. Allan
You noticed that, did you? 🙂 It’s also getting harder to leave as the time to retirement grows shorter, which is pretty natural. A good Wednesday to you, too.
Sounds divine.
It’s lovely; thanks Cindy.
That’s a pretty sight and I can understand why your friend’s dog loved it – dogs are so enthusiastic 🙂
Aren’t they? This dog had such a good time with all the new smells. I think she was in olfactory heaven! 🙂
Haha!
🙂
I’m with you–I get a lot more out of a walk when my dog shows me how much he enjoys it.
They are so good for us in so many ways, not least of which is taking them for walks, even if the weather is total crap and you really don’t want to!
Lynette, sublime scenery and wow, what a sky! No wonder it’s a favourite with the dog and owner! 😀
Hi Annika, that spot is not far from my home and in my opinion is endlessly beautiful, no matter the season!
Very pretty spot, Lynette. Soon it will be spring and it will not be a snow scene anymore, and you’ll be back there in person.
Agreed! I’ll be back for a couple of weeks in April when everything should be really going. I’ll be enjoying my favourite walking spot for a bit then. Cheers.
I can see why it would be a popular walking trail. It’s always good to get out early in the morning before it gets busy.
It’s such a great collection of trails on lake and so close to our home, too. So great.
