Always good to have a spot of colour in your day. It is supposed to be sunny here with temps up to -8 tomorrow. Yay. But short lived. Happy Saturday Lynette. Allan
It has been quite grey here for the last couple of weeks so I agree, it’s important to have some colour. We’re supposed to warm up as well. -5 or so. So unusual for the north. It’s December; we should have a locked in -25 by now!
Agreed! It has really been grey here the last couple of weeks; not much sun and of course the days are becoming very short. The colour and warmth have to come from the inside!

My favorite sunflowers are in a museum about 20 miles from my house:

Oh Neil, I love those paintings! So beautiful. I understand why they are your favourite.
Love this. Talk about a picture, or two, being worth a thousand words.
Thank you very much, Ally. We had a lovely dinner with friends (an inside sunflower period) while outside it kept snowing! 🙂
That’s how it should be in winter. As long as you’re warm and cozy at home, that’s the important thing.

Nice! Something bright inside even though it’s cold outside – that always warms me up!
So true, and particularly at this time of year when the days are becoming so short!
I hear ya!
At this time of year, summer has to be inside!
snow, in the “blue hour” of low light…
Yes, definitely. That blue tinge is so beautiful.
Oh winter. It certainly makes us more appreciative of all the colour and warmth from the other seasons.
It certainly does! It’s great to look at photos and remember that those days are coming around again. Cheers.
