No, the weather we have been having is pretty normal for this time of year in this area, but usually the roses are starting to look a bit tired by now. This one didn’t look tired at all. I will be returning to the subarctic at the end of this week, and it’s snowing there now – ugh. It’s my last northern winter though, so that’s great!
Happy Monday Lynette. We saw some amazing roses in Queen Elizabeth Park and even around the city in yards. We made it safely through the Coquihalla today, but from Valemount to home could be challenging tomorrow. Allan
That’s so lovely. Looking forward to seeing your posts about your visit. Have a safe drive, Allan. We are going to be coming through on Friday and staying at the Overlander on Friday night. Cheers.
I’m going back to the Territories at the end of this week, so for us, this lovely autumn ends soon and winter will start! This one is my last subarctic winter though. Cheers.
Enjoy!
Will do. 🙂
What a surprise. Indian Summer?

Subarctic–that is such an intimidating word.
Yes, the subarctic is not to be messed with, and only eclipsed by the Arctic!

Enjoy it while you can. It’s hard to believe that it’ll be November next week.
