I love all the bright autumn flowers that are available right now.

Such intensely vibrant and very decided colours.

The wonderful last beauty before we descend into the lustre of winter is captivating and precious.
Happy Thursday.

Beautiful 😻
Thank you very much. 🙂
really lovely
Thank you. The late season flowers are so pretty.
The colours are brilliant right now, Lynette, as if they know all will soon turn to white. Happy Thursday. Allan
Agreed – it’s like they know and put on this gorgeous final act of the show before winter. Cheers.
The autumn flowers really are a delight to look at.
Yes, really are. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
That top one looks like a zinnia. They have such thick intense colours.
It’s actually called a “scabiosa,” which is part of the honeysuckle family (and has been stuck with an unattractive name because in ancient times it was used as a treatment for scabies). The flower in the lower part of the second photo is a zinnia, though. Yes, the colours are so great and they last so well as cut flowers.
Thanks for clearing that up, Lynette. Beautiful colours.
You’re welcome. 🙂
I just want to dive in an become one with those colors, the same way I feel about the autumn trees. Lovely.
Agreed! The autumn colours are so breathtakingly beautiful. There’s nothing with the trees and bushes yet but the bright, late season flowers are everywhere. Cheers.
For sure. It’s the final burst of colour before winter.
So beautiful but so short! We have to enjoy it while we can.
