A trip to the Penticton market had a distinctly autumnal air despite the heat.

Fresh raspberries and blackberries – the last of them, we were repeatedly told – were bountifully available.

The flower stalls were bursting with vibrant autumn colours. At 30C (86F), it doesn’t feel much like September, but those invigorating cooler temperatures will arrive soon.
Happy Sunday.

Sie sind so hell und hübsch! Vielen Dank für Ihren Besuch.
I come again
Tschüss. 🙂
Fresh berries are the best. It doesn’t feel like September here in southern Ontario either. At least the nights are getting colder though.
All the great produce is coming out, and I’m really enjoying it! I’m a 95% vegetarian (I eat chicken or fish occasionally) so all this local freshness is lovely. You’re vegetarian too, I believe?
Fall is definitely ion the air, even at +33. And wildfire smoke, of course. Happy Sunday Lynette. Allan
Yes, the forest fire smoke. It’s very hazy here this morning; quite bad, really. High for today is projected at 28C with widespread smoke. Ugh.
The flowers are looking very bright ! ☺️
Yes, I love those bright colours, too! 🙂
🤗
It has started to cool off here in New England, and is raining more. It’s really nice to have cooler temps at night for sleeping!
It’s beginning to cool off here at night too, but we can still get up there during the day. The rest of this week is supposed to be 30-35C (86-95F) and now we have another forest fire nearby as well, so lots of smoke. This morning was very hazy. Having those cooler nights helps a lot, especially for the fire fighters.
It does look very autumn-like with these photos.
Most of the flower stalls looked very autumn-y. These were locally grown in Summerland. It’s so nice to have access to such freshness and variety.
Such vibrant, lovely colors! It does feel like fall today here, but I think the temperatures will get warmer during the week. Cheers!
I love them, but those colours are a strong reminder that summer is drawing to a close. It’s still rather warm here but the nights are becoming cooler. Cheers.🙂
I’m guzzling fresh corn on the cob these days, oh yum — yes, fall colours & fall weather on the way
I had some today as well! So good and so fresh. Guzzling is the right way to describe it!
Wow Autumn never looked so good. This is wonderful and that raspberry looks very tasty and delicious😝🔥🔥
It’s such a good time of year as all the produce starts coming in. Yes, so delicious! Thanks for visiting and commenting.
