   1. Thank you very much, Ally. Your right, this lake (Lake Okanagan) reveals a very different character at night. It’s beautiful during the day, but at night it’s so serene, even in the winter.

6. Great photo. How’d you get that one? Night photos are difficult to keep the aperture open for so long if not on a tripod. I’m always looking for tips. 😉

   1. Thank you very much, Lori. I used an f/1.4 with everything in manual but it wasn’t a long exposure because I felt there was plenty of ambient light to make it work (I was experimenting with it). I didn’t use a tripod; just tried to keep still. 😉

7. It’s neat how a place can look so different in the day compared to at night. Looks calm and quiet.

   1. I agree. It’s quite a different point of view. It was such a beautiful evening, and the lake was like a mirror. Really tranquil.
