It’s hydrangea week! Pretty. Those are almost the color of mine, which are dark pink. I’ve seen light pink and pinkish-purple, too. But most in my neighborhood are white.
It is! They are so pretty and I love the colour variations, sometimes on the same bloom. I found this site that gets into the colour changes. I just commented on your blog that pink might be their natural shade, but apparently not.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a red hydrangea before. How wild. They certainly are gorgeous.
I think I’ve only seen red ones three or four times, so they don’t seem to be very common (iron in the soil makes them red), but they are so impressive and beautiful.
