1. Blue bottles seem a rarity these days, not like the good old days of Noxema blue. Happy Monday Lynette.

   1. Noxema! I had forgotten about their blue glass jars. That’s a blast from the past!

2. That shape used to be quite popular!

   1. There’s a stopper in it that my friend was afraid to try to remove as it was really in there, and she didn’t want to risk breaking the bottle. Yes, a very interesting shape. Amazing how they have changed over the years.

3. That’s quite a little treasure to find.

   1. Yes, and not a shape that is very common any more. We thought that it might have held some kind of alcohol, and we envisioned someone sneaking off to the vegetable patch to have a quiet snort, then getting a little tipsy and losing the bottle!

      1. Wouldn’t it be fun to know these things? Or maybe it’s more fun to imagine all the different possible scenarios.

         1. I agree; much more fun to do the imagining!

   1. Actually, my friend found it (it was her yard), but it’s doing well in among her collectables now. 🙂
