The time of perpetual twilight. Happy Sunday Lynette. Allan
Yes. As we get closer to the solstice, it’s not getting completely dark at all, just the twilight that we get here. Cheers.
And I’m impressed you are out taking photos at 2AM! Our moon would have been setting about then; it was on its way down when I was driving home at midnight. It was a gloriously clear night, with lots of stars.
I was on my way home from a late-night work requirement. I’m not usually up to take photos that late. Agreed, it was such a gorgeous night and I loved the moon/sunset combination. Cheers.
You had to stay up late to get that one!
I’m not usually up that late, but unexpectedly needed to work. It was lovely coming home through that twilighty interplay of sun and moon.
Love this photo! Happy Sunday 🙂
Thank you very much. 🙂 It was such a gorgeous night.
I can’t even wrap my head around that! That’s crazy!! Lovely capture. I’d say it was worth staying up late (or waking up early) to watch!
I was coming home from work, so it wasn’t inconvenient to get some pictures of this phenomenon. So odd to see day and night competing with each other like that!
