        1. Because we’re so far north, there’s only about four hours of twilight (it doesn’t really get dark) in June. The rest of the time is bright daylight, so it gets rather warm (25-30C) with the sun shining most of the time. Makes up for December when the reverse is true! Cheers.

  1. In our part of Canada snow in April or May is very usual. There is always a major snowstorm somewhere in Alberta on the May long weekend. But, as my wife would say “Its sooooo beauooootiful. Happy Sunday Lynette. Allan

          1. I’m familiar with Nanaimo because my son lived there for a long time. Usually it’s quite nice at this time of year. My M said that Penticton had another cold wind again today with some rain for good measure. Ugh.

  2. We actually had snow in southern England in the first week of April, which upset the plants just coming out but was nothing like this of course. Hope spring finds you soon.

  3. Snow this evening in the mountains of Vermont, although it was sleet and rain as I drove home up the river valley. And it will be gone tomorrow, as temps all week are supposed to be in the 60s F. (High teens C.)

    1. I always have slightly elevated concerns about driving at this time of year (not good for airplanes, either). Our snowy and icy leftovers will hang around for a while still, though. High 60sF sounds nice. Safe travels.
