I know that official spring has come along, but the subarctic weather up here doesn’t know that. There’s still more than enough ice and cold to go around.

Happy Sunday.

Thanks. 🙂
awesome
Thank you. 🙂
It’s warming up a bit here in southeast Pennsylvania. But there’s still a chill in the air.
It has been wildly up and down here, melting one day and freezing (by a lot, as in 20 or 25° degrees lower) the next. Nice that you’re starting to warm up.
And here I am, complaining about 60!
I think that’s about 15C, which is comfortable light jacket weather if the sun is out. Could be chilly if overcast or raining, though.
No twigs for deer to browse on. That’s awful. Pretty picture, but not a good situation.
Those ice covered twigs were short-lived at least. The melting started up again today (and is supposed to be above zero all week) so more food should be available for them now.
That’s good. Glad to hear it.
🙂
We go from 20 to 70 – every day is different here lately!
That yo-yo-ing is so hard on the plants and animals. It was -21C (-6F) on Friday and today it’s melting. A 20 degree difference in two days is crazy!
Ack!
Ethereal Lynette!
Thank you very much, Cindy. 🙂
Oh, no! The weather has been warming up here–and then it feels chilly again–and then it warms up again. Lots of ups and downs.
Yes, the same here; and the differences have been wild. We had -21C (-6F) on Friday and sunny and melting today. Unbelievable!
That’s such a lovely picture. At least you’re able to find beauty in the lingering cold.
Thank you very much, Linda. 🙂 You have to appreciate the cold weather; there’s lots of it!
The bravura of ice-wrapped branches…
Thank you, Penny. I love how well you express your observations. 🙂
Amazing 😍 Dear
Thank you.
