I found Togetherness in a Penticton park.

Given world events, we can all do with some of that right now.

Happy mid-week.

This is such a beautiful piece and what a great reminder about how we’re stronger when we’re together 🙂
Thank you very much. 🙂 We definitely are stronger together.
Togetherness and inclusion are where it’s at.
I couldn’t agree more. 🙂
That’s a nice spot and yet I never really look at that piece, thanks for showcasing it.
You’re welcome. 🙂 Our place is near there so when I’m at home I walk in that area a lot. I hadn’t paid a lot of attention to it before. Cheers.
What is it made of, Lynette? Is that paper? Wood?
It’s plywood with little square sections of very thin (almost paper thin) wooden slices that have been painted with the images and glued to the larger board. I love how it’s easy to tell in some cases that the artist is probably a child and that other pieces have been completed by adults. I like trying to figure out who might have painted what – man, woman, younger, older.
I suppose it will last until the first serious rainfall.
It lasted through the winter since it was up last October, so it’s doing well and is in a protected spot.
I love this. Such a good visual reminder of how we all fit together just so.
I love your comment, Ally. We often do fit together, even when we think that we don’t. Cheers.
