What a great reminder that there is still beauty in the world around us even during these challenging times. That black bear is such a cutie.
Thank you very much, Linda. I love the black bear picture – one of my favourites for sure. He was certain that there were better things around to eat than plants!
You only have to shut off the TV and open your eyes to see the beauty. Stay well Lynette. Allan
I agree, Allan. Beauty is everywhere. We’re afflicted with greedy thugs who can’t see any of it and even if they could, wouldn’t care.
There are many beauties to love and protect. You are one of them.
Thank you very much! That’s such a lovely and kind thing to say. You have definitely made my day. 😀
I just bought an orchid today (I try to get one every winter about this time). They bloom for such a long time. I’m glad to see that your bear is a vegetarian (that day, anyway).
Orchids are beautiful and yes, they last so long. I’ve never been very successful at keeping them healthy over the long term, though. This bear photo is one of my favourites. It always makes me think that he was longing for things other than plants, though!
He probably was!
Yup! 🙂
yes! life as both/and, not either/or. More important than ever, to remember and notice and cherish the beautiful
Agreed, Penny, and such a good point. Life is often presented as either/or when it really isn’t, and then many of us feel cheated.
Thanks for the reminders of the beautiful simple things. That bear posed for the picture. 🐻🙂
You’re welcome, Lori. We’re so bombarded with bad, bad, bad that we start to forget about all the good stuff. Yes, that bear was certainly a healthy looking specimen. He looks like he would rather be eating a sandwich (or maybe me!) than a salad without sauce. 😉
