This is very timely as we just booked plane tickets for out west. We’re planning to spend a few days in Tofino.
That’s so great! Tofino is jaw-droppingly gorgeous, as is the entire area (Vancouver Island is beautiful). You will love all the hiking and do make sure you visit Chesterman Beach; that’s the one on my header.

I have gone swimming there as early as May and it has been a bit bracing, but still rather tolerable. August is much better!
