I’ll bet these trees will be happy to be free from their icy coatings. The melt here yesterday finally released my spruce and pine tree boughs. The birds were having a field day. Thanks for sharing Lynette. Allan
I bet they are! It’s such a relief after the frigid depths. We have -14C right now, so it feels much better than -35. I wore an ordinary winter jacket today!
I work in the subarctic, so we usually get very cold temperatures. This winter has had some cold periods, but it has been relatively warm compared to other years. Today was -12C (10F); very warm for January this far north.
Wow!
We got a big fluffy snowfall!
What a magical picture. I love all the snow encrusted on the trees. It looks so beautiful.
It is really gorgeous, but I don’t like having to shovel it!
Dare you to walk up to one and give it a good shake…
No thank you. I never really aspired to being a snowman. 😉

I lived in snowy Pennsylvania, but I don’t think it got that cold… or beautiful.

Hmm… Have I ever heard -12C and ‘very warm’ in the same sentence? Don’t think so.
Hahaha. 🙂 It’s all relative, isn’t it? When I’m back in the south full-time, I’m going to start seeing -12C as so cold!
Beautiful but so cold.
Oh yes, although today it was -12C and by Friday it’s supposed to be -9. So unusual for January!
Getting better!
It was lovely to have a bit of a break!
WOW!!! Beautiful.
Thank you very much, Cindy. We get a lot of snow around here. 😉
