That’s something we fear here in the Carolinas. Late frost takes a fairly heavy toll on the local apple and peach crops, but that’s never in May, WHOOF!
This occurred in the subarctic, but it was late, even by Northwest Territories standards. Usually, the snow in this area is gone by mid to late April. Very different from the Okanagan Valley!
*Like* It’s not letting me use the Like button again! What kind of discrimination is this, as others before me have?!? It’s a perfect Christmas card photo, even if taken of May blooms!
What a lovely picture. I love the red berries covered in such white snow.
This snowfall didn’t last long, but it was definitely impressive!

I have always loved the contrast of bright red against the snow. So pretty!
This was very pretty but rather annoying since it happened in May!
Yikes! Okay, that definitely would be annoying!

Sorry about that! I don’t know why that happens every so often. Very annoying! Thank you for the like. 🙂
Yes, it was taken in May. Even for the subarctic that’s rather late.
Really pretty picture if you don’t think about the fact that the snow shouldn’t have been there.
Agreed. Even at 62° N latitude that’s really dragging winter out!
How pretty – reminds me of a peppermint treat!
Yes, it does look that way! 🙂
Such delicate beauty. Wonderful! 🙂
I wasn’t happy about the snow but it was beautiful!
