I found these outside someone’s garden gate. I don’t know how long they have been there, but they were such a vivid point of colour on the street. Mums usually have a long life.
My mother had a mum in a hanging basket on her back veranda in the summer of 1981. When she died in 1982, I brought that plant home and is has bloomed for me every year since then. 40 years so far. It has tiny white flowers that look a bit like popcorn from a distance. Long life, yes!
