  1. I love birch trees but I haven’t had much success with them. Thanks for the vicarious enjoyment.
    Cathy and I were talking this morning about how we think the colors will be good this year. Not too wet and not too dry. The witch hazel tree is putting out a bunch of little yellow fingers- EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHEHEHEHE! Once the colors get going good I will post some pics. Hope you’re having a good one.

    1. The northern birches are so tall and skinny and it takes a long time for them to develop. They do tend to like cooler temperatures, though.

      Those yellow witch hazel tendrils are so pretty! I look forward to your photos!
