The deep reds and golden yellows are always my favourite during the fall.
Yes, me too. The reds are my favourite, but the yellows can be just stunning!
I can’t choose a fav—I love all the hues/colors/shades. I think what I like best is the combination of colors.
The colour combinations are sometimes jaw-droppingly gorgeous!

There are so few reds in the West, they stand out to be enjoyed. My Amur Maple in my front yard is my ones red tree. Thanks for sharing Lynette. Have a great week. Allan
There aren’t many reds although I have noticed more colour variations around lighter reds and oranges in the Okanagan. Autumn is a beautiful, if short, pageant of colour!
I love autumn! All the colors just add so much vibrance and movement to seasonal change. Red maple leaves are a favorite. Great share. Thank you.
You’re welcome. 🙂 The red maples are gorgeous, and I find that there can be quite a scope of colour, all the way from very dark red to a lighter, almost orange, shade.
Yes! That’s part of the beauty and richness is that range of brilliant reds! Lovely.
Right? And we have to enjoy it while it’s here. It’s gone so fast …
So true!
When you get deciduous growth mixed with coniferous growth, it makes for a brilliant display in the autumn.
Yes, that mix is so beautiful. Another of my favourites is the tamarack – they are so gorgeous mixed with the dark green deciduous trees.
Yes, I think that’s what we see driving through parts of Montana in the higher elevations.
Yes, there are lots of tamaracks in the mountains around Penticton. They turn such a beautiful yellow.
I guess I like pumpkin-colored leaves the best.
That’s a lovely autumn colour – so pretty!
