An abandoned boat.
I have mixed feelings about these abandoned boats. One or two boats look interesting and make a good photo, but lately there are starting to be so many that it’s more like throwing your garbage on the ground. It’s becoming a way to discard a boat (littering the beach) and avoid having to pay clean up or dismantling fees – not to mention the oil, fuel, and engines in the boat. One or two boats on the beach are nostalgic, but if everyone does it when they are done with their boats, it’s not so pretty anymore. Just my humble opinion.
That’s a very good point. They are a decomposing environmental enemy. I didn’t realise that this is becoming common practice. You’re right that it is the equivalent of throwing your garbage on the ground. No different from abandoning a vehicle to rot in the woods (I keep coming across really old ones from the 30s and 40s).
Exactly like that, yes.
