It’s a very healthy waterfall right now because we had so much snow (and now rain), but if the rain slows down, it will drop off to a trickle by the beginning of August.
Unusual-looking falls because of the color of the water — not to mention its force, which I’m guessing is caused by heavy spring rains….hence the name SPRING FALLS?
You are exactly right. ๐ We had a huge amount of snow this year and that has been followed by almost non-stop rain. It’s more moisture than we or the animals ever want or need, but the falls are beautiful!
Look powerful ๐
This waterfall is particularly powerful in the spring; the volume drops off significantly during summer.
Like beauttiful silver ribbons, Lynette. Thanks for sharing. Allan

Too bad you can’t share with the drought stricken parts of the US!
It looks like it has a lot of soil in it.
I would be great if we could come up with some kind of equitable distribution system! It does have a lot of soil in it – itโs quite yellow.
๐ wonderful
Itโs a beautiful spot. ๐
This is such a beautiful capture. I love the cloud of mist.
That waterfall is really pounding right now. The noise of the water alone is almost deafening.
