10 thoughts on “Almost Wordless Wednesday-Pussy Willows”
I have such warm and fuzzy feelings about pussy willows. My grandmother loved them and always had some in her house. I remember going down to the pond with her a few times so she could gather a few bunches of them.
It’s always a hopeful sign when you see the first pussywillows. Ours are long gone, but I do remember the warm and “fuzzy” feeling of first seeing them and knowing winter was ending.
Ours took a very long time to arrive, and we still aren’t getting very warm temperatures. The high today is 13, but there’s a seriously cold wind blowing. Brrr. I’m still wearing a fleece.
Don’t feel hard done by. We had 12 degrees and a breeze yesterday. I’ve been FREEZING! It’s supposed to get better in the next few days. Then we can complain about the heat.

What a lovely memory. It’s wonderful when an enjoyable remembrance bubbles up like that. Pussy willows are so pretty. 🙂
A beautiful photo and a delightful title for this post. Happy Wednesday!

Hahaha – we love to grouse about the weather!
Isn’t that what weather is for?
Yes – 🙂
