You’re welcome. 🙂 It was a bit of a blustery day but not cold or raining. It was lovely to sit in an area sheltered from the wind and just contemplate the ocean.
I understand. I used to live on the prairies, as well, but I was raised near the ocean and so it’s a special place for me. The prairies have very ocean-like qualities, too. Very serene.
I love finding big pieces of driftwood on the beach. They make for such great places to sit and look out into the water. Enjoy the rest of your week. Take care.
I’m sitting on one of those logs listening to the waves lap at the beach but I live on the prairie…
Thanks for this!

Or one word: Calming
It definitely was calming; the ocean always does that for me …
Yes, that looks like home.
It is. I lived near an ocean until I was 18, so that desire to be next to one is always vaguely there.
I always miss it too when I’m away from the coast, I look at the faraway low bluish hills and think involuntarily that it’s the ocean.
There’s something about the movement, the restlessness, that I find comforting.
I’d enjoy doing that!
One of my favorite things is just sitting still by water, it’s so relaxing!

That’s true Lynette!
I love the prairie serenity!

I am capable of spending a lot of time just looking at the ocean. I sort of forget everything else so it’s very restful. You take care, too. 🙂
