I’ve been invited by my friend KA Gould to participate in the “travel photo challenge.”
The idea is to post a photo of a favourite travel destination and invite readers to guess where the photo was taken.
Here’s mine:

Please stop by Allan’s blog to do a little browsing. He takes really terrific photos, especially of Jasper National Park.

Happy Friday; stay safe and well. 🙂
Oooh, Ooooh, oooh, I know. Will let the others guess. Thanks Lynette. Allan
I figured you would know! 🙂 It’s going to be great to visit again once we get this vaccine rolling.
Seattle?
Good try! It’s Toronto, but they both have similar looking towers. The Toronto tower is a lot taller, though.
stunning! is this seattle?
It’s Toronto with its 553 metre tower. I’ve never done this, but apparently you can hang off the side of it in a harness!
It must be so cool!! I would never be able to do it ahaha
Toronto
Ding, ding, ding! 😀 You win the virtual Christmas turkey! 🦃
In my pre-retirement life I was an urban studies prof. 😊
This would have been an easy question for you, then. Thanks for stopping by. 🙂
Since we’ve been working from home for the past 9 months, I don’t pass by this as often anymore. Glad to remember what my city looks like 🙂
I like visiting Toronto a lot. Friends and family are there and we love the restaurants and all the things to do. I’m going be so happy when the vaccine has done its work!
I confess, I cheated and looked up images based on the the other comments, so I know robyne got it right.
I still don’t know what it is, though. Care to enlighten me? 😉
Hahaha. 🙂 It’s a communications tower but has also become an adventure tourist hotspot. People have jumped off it and apparently you can hang off the side of it in a harness (not something I would pay money to do). As you can imagine, the views are stunning; it takes a whole minute to ride to the top in one of the glass-floored elevators. It’s one of the seven modern wonders of the world.
I believe this is Toronto and I have been up that tower. I understand that you can strap up and lean out over the side. I would love to try that, but only once !
Yes, you are right! How about you do that and report back? 😉 I’m a pilot but that’s not something I would do.
not together then. I am a little sad. 🙂
Unfortunately not. 😉
Toronto?
Yes. 🙂
