A rainy wind storm recently blew away all our autumn leaf colours, but here’s a reminder of those lovely hues.
Have a great week, everyone. 🙂

Beautiful blog post. I like it.
Thank you. 🙂
So beautiful!
Thank you, Jill. 🙂
I raked up my reminders and put them in the compost bin yesterday during a hurricane wind. Looks like fall is serious. We finally had a killing frost last night. This is very unusual, but much appreciated. Thanks for sharing Lynette. Allan
Oh yes, it is definitely serious. We have a major wind storm going on today with a sort of snowy rain falling. Quite cold. 🥶Stay well and warm. 🙂
Gorgeous–thank goodness for cameras/camera phones:)
Thank you. 🙂 Yes, thank goodness. I carry around an old camera that lives in my vehicle and continues to take good photos, even though it’s horribly banged up and gets frozen in the winter and baked in the summer. 🙂
It does happen that way sometimes, doesn’t it? But these are very pretty. Lovely color.
Thank you. 🙂 Yes, unfortunately, it does. I’m glad I got some good photos before that happened.
Love those sticks of gold.
It’s so disappointing when the wind blows away that beauty. We’re getting wind here today and tomorrow. I’m so glad I got out to see the colors over the weekend (I shared some pics on my blog).
Hope you’re enjoying your holiday.
I love your description. 🙂
It is disappointing but then again, the transience makes us aware of how much we need to appreciate it in the moment.
Your photos are gorgeous – looks like you are having a beautiful autumn. 🍂
Yes, thanks, I am enjoying it. I took off two whole days together and only went to the office this afternoon. It has been a lovely mini-break. 🙂
That is just gorgeous!
Thank you. 🙂 They didn’t last long but they were so pretty.
I was raking the yard just a bit ago. Not only are the colors beautiful, the air smells wonderful too. (I’m one of those weirdos who enjoys raking!)
I like raking too, so I’ll join you on the weird side of the street. 😉 I always feel so invigorated (and virtuous, too, for having gotten to it!) The air is cool and sweet and the weather can be so perfect, as well. 🙂
