Today’s Picture: 18 May 20
Stuart’s most recent photos show beautiful, sculptured trees and an old building decaying back into itself. Thank you for sharing these contemplative, wonderfully composed pictures, Stuart. 🙂
Beautiful! Thanks for sharing.
I think those ruins are so interesting.
This looks a lot like western North Carolina, at a long abandoned sawmill along the Laurel river trail. My heart aches for it, and for a big ol’ stringer full of fish while I’m at it. Your pic reminds me that all this will end and I will be back. That’s important. Thanks for sharing this with us.
You are very welcome. These are Stuart’s photos and I’m sharing them as part of his photo project for those who are still stuck inside because of covid. I’m glad you like them.
I would like to read a post about this lovely place that still makes your heart ache.
Thanks for continuing to share these, Lynette. I’ll be interested to see what happens when I share some pictures from outside the forest.
Yes – I am interested in that too! Your forest photos have certainly generated a lot of happiness. Thank you. 🙂
Oh, this is perfect inspiration for a Bonnywood short story…
Yes! That would be terrific! Please do. 😀
Do you think Stuart would mind if I used the photo? I don’t want to step on any toes…
I don’t think he would mind, but here’s his site so that you can check: https://stuartaken.net/2020/05/18/todays-picture-18-may-20/
Please do, Brian. These pictures are for sharing the joy of nature.
Thank you for the opportunity, Stuart. I’ll see what I can do…
Hi Brian, Stuart has left a comment for you on this post. Cheers.
Just a thought, Brian. If you’d like a reasonable sized .jpg file of the picture, I can let you have one. Easiest way would be to visit my website and send me a ‘request’ from my ‘Contacts’ page with your email address so I could then send it to you direct.
I just sent a request on your ‘Contacts’ page. Hopefully I clicked on all the appropriate buttons, but we’ll see… 😉
Hi Brian, received your details, and I’ve sent you a couple of .jpg files. Hope they are what you need.
Thanks, Stuart! Very much appreciated.
