Marvellous Monday to you!
In honour of the openings that are beginning to happen today, here are some bright red and pink flowers.
They are lowly hedge flowers, but lovely all the same.
Even though some areas may be re-opening today, don’t forget to stay safe. 🙂
These little lovelies remind me of my childhood!
I found them so cheery and bright! Glad they reminded you of your childhood. 🙂
Beautiful!
Thank you! 🙂
If we do the reopening right, we will not have to go back into full lockdown. Fingers crossed, Lynette. Still serious lockdowns in NZ and Ireland, where they seem to have a better handle on this. But, easing is starting all over the world. Stay well. Allan
I’m not sure I know what to think. I’m concerned about round 2 and when it might strike, but I also get that people need to be able to get out and do things, especially as the good weather is here.
You stay well, too.
Those bright colors prove that lowly isn’t so lowly after all. Pretty.
Thanks. 🙂 I have a soft spot for the more “common” flowers such as daisies and lupines. They are usually so charming.
Happy Monday:)
Thank you! 🙂
There’s a beautiful simplicity in these flowers. Nature knows how to combine colour, texture and shape to the best effect, eh?
That’s what I like about them. Very plain, but beautiful colours and so bright. Yes, nature knows how to do it. 🙂
I’m seeing spring in a whole new light this year, appreciating all the tiny details. Your photo has reminded me of this. Hope you are well Lynette.
I’m glad to hear that. 🙂 I think we have been forced into seeing what’s around us in this breather, this pause, in our busy busy- ness.
Quite lovely for a lowly hedge!
I tend to like the common flowers best. Zinnias and cosmos are a few of my favorites. 🙂
They were popping up all over a sidewalk hedge and looked so bright with their red and pink. I like the simpler flowers too. 🌸
