Flowers of Republica Dominicana – Part I

Orchids are a marvellous part of the Dominican landscape.

There are many kinds, including the vanilla orchid that is native to the island. They weren’t blooming when we visited, but here’s a beautiful white one that was.

New World Orchid

And one more.

Miltoniopsis

There are many magnificent things in the world; in this 20/20 year, we need to see that.

Greetings from the lovely orchids of Dominican Republic. ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Oh Jill! So sorry to hear that youโ€™ve been feeling so poorly. Flus can be really bad. People think, oh, itโ€™s just the flu, but it can be a lot more than that. The last one I had turned into pneumonia. Be good to yourself and I hope you feel better soon. Iโ€™m glad the photos brightened your day. ๐Ÿ™‚

I'd love to hear what you have to say!
