Orchids are a marvellous part of the Dominican landscape.
There are many kinds, including the vanilla orchid that is native to the island. They weren’t blooming when we visited, but here’s a beautiful white one that was.

And one more.

There are many magnificent things in the world; in this 20/20 year, we need to see that.
Greetings from the lovely orchids of Dominican Republic. 🙂
They are absolutely beautiful.
They are – there were many of them. 🙂
Beautiful photos.
Thank you. 🙂
You’re in a beautiful place.
Happy New Year!
Happy New Year to you as well – all the best for 2020.
We are on our way back now – all holidays come to an end. 🙂
Lovely photos. You are tempting me even more… 😉
It’s a great holiday spot. 🙂
Exactly what I needed after a miserable battle with the worst flu I’ve ever experienced. Thanks for sharing these gorgeous photos, Lynette. Happy New Year!
Oh Jill! So sorry to hear that you’ve been feeling so poorly. Flus can be really bad. People think, oh, it’s just the flu, but it can be a lot more than that. The last one I had turned into pneumonia. Be good to yourself and I hope you feel better soon. I’m glad the photos brightened your day. 🙂
You have a great eye for capturing beauty! 🙂 Happy New Year!
Thank you! Happy New Year to you as well. 🙂
What a beautiful greeting!
Aren’t they? So lovely. 🙂
Lovely! Thank you for the beautiful pictures of the orchids. 🙂
You’re welcome. 🙂 I’m glad you enjoyed them. 🙂
