Okanagan Spring

Apparently, spring has been early, and I’ve been enjoying every minute of it, even when the temperature went up to 30C for a couple of days. It’s more seasonal now, but those warm days ensured that blooms are everywhere, that the hills are verdant, and that lushness prevails. The wine is growing! πŸ™‚

It's green!
It’s green! (And blue!)
More green!
More green! (And blue!) The snow on those far hills has been gone for a couple of weeks now.
And yellow. These beautiful daisy-like wild- flowers are everywhere.

This very popular trail is on the site of an old railroad track. It’s a favourite walk of M’s and mine.
A final view ... for now.
A final view … for now.

How is your spring going?

  1. Oh, I am jealous! Haha πŸ˜‰
My spring has been delayed, we have had a cold spell again… But it should get back on track soon!
Thanks for sharing these lovely photos.

      1. Haha, that’s funny! Jealousy all over the place. πŸ˜€ I understand what you mean. We are indeed privileged to enjoy such great things. A lot of people can’t, ever. So I try to be grateful for these wonderful hings that pop up once in a while! πŸ™‚

  2. Wow, it’s beautiful where you live πŸ™‚ Great pictures. I’m glad you’re enjoying spring so far! I *love* spring here in North Carolina. I really have nothing to complain about as the weather has been perfect!

    1. Thank you very much. πŸ™‚

It is quite spectacular. πŸ™‚ nothing to complain about here, either – the winter was very mild and spring was early. πŸ™‚ I would like to visit N. Carolina some day – it’s on my list.

I'd love to hear what you have to say!
